The summer holidays have started, and as the pictures show, Thaïs has a lot of time on her hands.

We’ve started teaching her to swim, actually Mario teaches her, I don’t swim, and she’s made quite a lot of progress. From a cute turtle-paddle on the first day to actual freestyle strokes on the fourth day, I think she’s doing quite well. It took her about 3-4 days to get used to the feeling of being under, but after that it’s been smooth sailing. Thankfully, she seems to have absolutely no fear of the water. Will put up the pool pics with my next post…. Yes, there will be another!!
